During the 2020-2021 school year, as teachers and students navigated the complicated format of hybrid teaching and learning, Nearpod became an essential tool in my classroom as I used it to engage both at-home and in-person learners. Embedding Kagan structures within Nearpod permitted students to access collaborative learning practices no matter where they were. In this session, participants will see how I put Kagan practices in dialogue with the format of Nearpod in a collaborative, communicative reading activity.
